Refugio State Beach

We are going on 5 years of camping at Refugio State Beach. This includes individual sites and our favorite Bouchard group site. All sites are highly recommended.

Lots of bike trails, walk to ocean and sand, playground, camp store, basketball court, hiking trails, frog hunting around the creek, clean showers and bathrooms, grass, nice people and short drives to Santa Barbara or Solvang for shopping, eating and museum trips.

15 minute drive to the movie theatres and lots of shopping and food.

Ride your bike to El Capitan SB. Watch the many trains that go by right next to the campground.

Bring your kayaks and get up close with the dolphins you will see all day long.

Take a short walk down south and find the tide pools.
