We've been to Joshua Tree a few times now. Highly recommend it for it's beauty, adventurous rock climbing for fun and for the serious. And the for quiet surroundings, you just can't beat it. For the many times we've camped at JT, we still have not seen and experienced everything. We've done the must do hike at Barker Dam, drove through and just stopped at cool looking rocks and went climbing, shopped at cute shops outside the park, stopped at the information center for shopping, info and eats, walked the hike to see Cottonwood Springs (yes there are small springs and cotton blowing in the wind).
